Tommy vs. Russ? Ex-governor eyes run for U.S. Senate seat

Tommy vs. Russ would provide an epic battle and increase voter turnout throughout the state. Tommy should run for that reason alone. Russell better hope that Tommy doesn't run because Tommy will win by 10 in 2010

As for Tommy. Remember his deer in the headlights looks when he was in DC working for Bush? Oh, that was funny expect for the fact Tommy was in charge of HHS. That was scary. He didn't last too long. What makes anyone think he can do better as a senator? Governor makes more sense. Senator? uh uh.

Feingold is better.....

A contest between Feingold & "Tommy (What is he? 12 ??) Thompson would be a no brainer... Although he is more liberal than I would desire, in a pairing between these two, Feingold wins hands-down.

Any Senator smart enough to be the only vote AGAINST the patriot Act would be my choice to keep his job, because the (so called) patriot act is not the least bit patriotic....

NO Senator should be supporting it. The act infringes on our freedoms, causing way more harm to honest citizens than it ever will to terrorists. It's not worth the trouble !!!

Run Tommy Run

This would be a great contest, featuring two heavyweights at both ends of the political spectrum with much to argue about.

Russ is a good senator, but the Democratic Party is on the decline and will reap voter wrath if it rams through health care. Feingold and other incumbents will be swept away in a tidal wave of revolt.
